What I do

I make web pages and code web apps in PHP.

I develop WordPress websites for both personal and professional use, enhancing them with whatever you need for your business: seamless payment solutions, newsletter platforms, customer- and learning management systems, &c.

I make websites as lightweight and easy to use as possible. I always build them from scratch: this is usually easier and (counterintuitively) faster than to integrate a bunch of ready-made plugins into a ready-made theme.

I pay attention to details: semantics, accessibility, typography, and what the websites I code look like on Google or Facebook.

What I do not do

I do not do web design. I can advise you on a particular aspect of it based on my previous experience, but I cannot design a complex page layout for you. (By complex, I mean any more complex than what you’re looking at now.) I’ll be happy to cooperate with a web designer on your side.

I do not professionally manage web servers. I can, though, help you find out if you need one or your project is going to be just fine on a shared hosting. (If you don’t know what this is about, nevermind — we’ll discuss this.) If a web server is needed, I can do the basic setup; in case you need more detailed guidance, I’ll refer you to a more experienced professional.

I do not take urgent projects. I cannot make you a website in a day, or even in three days.

I do not contribute to projects founders and/or management of which supports the Russian invasion in Ukraine.
